FEBRUARY 2022 UPDATE:

San Mateo County health officers have lifted the universal mask requirements for most indoor public settings beginning Wednesday, February 16 if vaccinated and are healthy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with these continued updates. If any client has any specific COVID safety measure requests please let us know when scheduling your appointments so that we can accommodate you!

AUGUST 2021 UPDATE:

With the most recent changes in increased COVID-19 cases and the variant, we are now asking for ALL CLIENTS to be masked during our indoor appointments again. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with these continued updates.

JUNE 2021 UPDATE:

California’s COVID pandemic restrictions have been lifted as of June 15th, 2021. Veterinary Acupuncture and Rehabilitation Services’ protocols will be adjusted accordingly. We will continue to respect any mandates while also continuing to follow the recommended biosecurity protocols in the area. 

We also ask that if any client has any specific COVID safety measure requests to please let us know when scheduling your appointments so that we can accommodate you! Thank you for all of your understanding and support!

MARCH 2020 UPDATE:

Veterinary Acupuncture and Rehabilitation Services will continue to remain open during the COVID-19 pandemic and are available for you and your animals. We are following safety recommendations from both local and state officials and have implemented the following modifications to our appointments in order to maximize biosecurity measures. 

To help protect others and focus on preventing the spread of germs and viruses, we ask that any clients who are experiencing any cold/flu like symptoms to please reschedule their appointment. There will be no cancellation fee for those who cancel or reschedule due to symptoms of illness and/or recent exposure or travel.

Acupuncture and Physical-Rehab House Call Modifications:

  • Prior to your appointment, our staff will be contacting you to ask specific screening questions regarding you and your loved one’s status of health, history of recent travel, etc. in order to help reduce the doctor’s exposure as well as protecting each client and their families.

  • SOCIAL DISTANCING:

    • We ask for our clients to please wear a mask over your nose and mouth.

    • Keep 6 feet away from each other at all times.

    • Work in a comfortable, outside location when possible.

    • We ask that only one client be present with their animal during the session.

  • We are practicing good hygiene by washing our hands/using sanitizer frequently and disinfecting our equipment between appointments.

  • Please fill out our new client form online prior to your appointment if you haven’t already done so, click HERE.

  • Payments due will be taken over the phone or via online invoices via Square. 

  • All scheduling will be done over email, text or call.


Recheck and Telemedicine Appointments:

  • We now offer telemedicine appointments for recheck appointments.

  • We have set up a simple, safe and easy to use platform that allows us to email you a direct link to the video consult, without any required log in/membership. 

  • This option is $80 per 30 minute appointment.


Medications, Herbal and Supplement Orders and Refills:

  • Please email or call | (650) 479-6677 | for any refill requests. These will be delivered directly to you. 

  • You may also place your orders for medications, supplements and non-prescription and prescription diets by visiting our ONLINE PHARMACY.

    • Please be aware that are online pharmacy partners are experiencing longer than normal delivery times due to the increase in demand. Please plan accordingly!
