We offer an integrative approach to canine sports medicine and rehabilitation, combining physical therapy, acupuncture, and advanced therapeutic modalities to improve comfort, mobility, performance, and overall quality of life.
Each treatment plan is tailored to the individual patient based on their condition, goals, and findings from a comprehensive initial assessment.
Treatments and appointments are offered at our home office and typically range from 30–60 minutes, depending on the patient and modalities used.
Initial Rehabilitation Assessment
A comprehensive musculoskeletal and neurologic evaluation is performed by Dr. Allie using a whole-body approach.
This includes:
Gait and movement analysis
Assessment of comfort and pain levels as well as function
Identification of compensatory patterns
Orthopedic and neurologic evaluation
Initial assessments typically take 60–90 minutes.
Manual Therapy
Manual therapy techniques may include:
Range of motion exercises
Stretching and flexibility work
Joint mobilization
Therapeutic massage
Therapeutic Modalities
Integrative modalities are used to support healing, reduce pain, and improve function, including:
Neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES)
Therapeutic Exercises & Home Programs
Conditions We Treat
Each patient receives a customized rehabilitation plan designed to improve strength, mobility, and functional recovery.
These programs are similar to physical therapy in humans and may include a personalized home exercise program to support continued progress between sessions.
